Home Opener: Calgary Flames defeated Edmonton Oilers!

Last night, The Flames won 2-1, after a nail bitting ending in the last minute of the third period. Although their powerplay sucks, 0-15 in the two games, they had more scoring chances unlike thursday which they played stupid. They moved the puck a lots better last night, and came close to scoring at least 4 powerplay goals if only they could tap it in in the second period. On Monday night, they better score their first powerplay goal and get some more offences. Watching them win a close game was nerve wrecking. I like to see them win by more than two goals, at least that way I am not freaking out in the third period... Kipper can't steal all the games every night. Iginla's line better score more, especially like the new acquires Alex Tanguay. He's the second highest pay player in the team and has nothing to show yet except the one assist.
